Lacy Serpentine Scarf -  by Heartstrings

A scarf or stole knit side to side in a deceptively simple lace pattern

This serpentine lace stitch, which looks more complicated than it really is, has only 3 different patterned rows, so the rhythm is quickly learned and enjoyed.

Simply cast on for one side of your scarf or stole, work the easily memorized pattern in long rows, and before you know it, you'll have knit across and be ready to cast off.

Make this scarf in our silk & wool laceweight yarn for a flowing, lightweight project  Finished dimensions approx 71" x 9"
Size 4 US needles (3.5mm) recommended

Or make a stole or shawl using our silk & wool DK yarn for a larger wardrobe accent with a little more weight and beautiful drape.
Finished dimensions approx 110" x 15"
Size 9 or 10 US needle (5.5mm) recommended

Please enter your color choice in the customer comments box at checkout.   See yarn colors here.
