11/09 Just off the loom, a mixed-warp fabric (mostly handspun, some singles)  with weft of olive rayon chenille, with random areas of singles wool (dark purple) and novelty yarn inlays.  Sett at 8 epi.

I had originally hoped to use the novelty yarn in the warp, and use a plain weft, but my heddles wouldn't stand for it, so, after several weeks looking for a solution, I removed the yarn from the reed, wound some light colored wool warp for those areas, and proceeded.    It took longer to weave this way, laying in the thicker yarn, but I like the result, and the fabric has a nice hand and drape.

I hope to use it for a layering garment.
