And here's another project by Susan M. completed in November   My First Toip-Down Sweater, pattern by Lisa knits.
I love that red on her!

What a beautiful job Susan M. of Flat Rock, NC did knitting this intricate  fisherman's sweater..   She used our Shepherds Wool in Frosty Blue

Here's Julia S. from Temple Terrace, FL, wearing her newly completed Thinking of You Scarf, knit on vacation on a houseboat!  She says, "what a well-written and easy pattern to follow.  I used  1 skein (250 yards) Stonehedge Fiber Mill Shepherd's Wool Worsted in Christmas Red.  Note with my gauge I used all 250 yards.  I was playing yarn chicken and ended up with less than a 3" tail!"

An adorable set of mittens and an ear flap hat knit by Cindy L for one of her many grandsons.  Lucky fellow, he chose the orange himself!
The blue is Shepherd's wool worsted.

We'd love to post your project photo here!   Please email your images

Here's a pretty version of the popular Odyssey shawl, by Laura R. of Lyme, CT, knit with our Shepherd's worsted yarn.  Laura says, "This shawl is a fun and simple pattern to knit with lovely details that create interest in the design"

This original project  by Julie S., from N Yarmouth, ME., is cozy and soft   "My first project that survived frogging. Many thanks to Susan for the advice and help."  Julie used Shepherd's yarn and a size 8 needle--can you believe it's her FIRST knitting?!

Here's another version of the popular Reader's Wrap by Vickie H., from Rittman, Ohio:   I just finished this cozy reader's shawl for my daughter.  The pattern was easy to pick up and put down during my very busy canning season and the result looks great. I blocked it using lace wires to get a nice smooth edge and to open up the pretty edge stitches.

A gorgeous version of the Starshower Cowl by Julia S. from
Temple Terrace, FL.
"The pattern is clearly written and it sustains interest, not boring.  The Shepherd's wool was very nice to work with.  I like the style, don't need to worry about a scarf pin or it slipping off."

Julia's color choice, Pansy, looks great on her!

The Shift Cowl by Cindy L. with Crazy Yarn.  What an adorable model!
This is the finished project, modeled by my local grandson….. I'm about to start another with at least one skein of Crazy that's mostly blues….

Susan M. knit the Ribbon Hat with Pink Panther Shepherds Wool.

"It is a lovely project, and the border is so sweet!  A swatch is a must to check gauge, and maybe even one size smaller needle would be a good idea to use if the recipient has had any hair loss."

A Readers Wrap by Cindy C. of Shcenectady, NY.
"It was an easy pattern to follow, a pleasure to knit and the result was an elegant wrap..a delight to use or to gift to someone "

Marie-Claude's sweater made for her son for Christmas using Shepherd's yarn Sage.   I love this vintage Pinguion pattern!  Beautiful job!

I finally finished my project and my son is really happy!
Great yarn to work with. Loved it!

Pat D's Bidwell Shawl knit with Periwinkle FrogTree Picaboo yarn.
" I was looking for a simple, uncomplicated shawl that I could wear almost all of the time, as opposed to the shawls I have made for special occasions.  This was fun, a quick knit and something that could easily be done in front of the television.  I would recommend it highly."

Here's a beautiful creation by  Gull-Britt N., of Sweden, who writes:

Gull-Britt uses fiber to make felted canvases for her embroidered designs.   Isn't this wonderful!?

Jeanie B. modeling her Just Enough Ruffles scarf knit with Raspberry Shepherd's Wool

An adorable *basket of chicks*, knit by Lucille B., of Phippsburg, ME

"I used most anything I got my hands on, but worsted weight is ideal- your Shepard's wool would be perfect. I'm on a very tight budget, so learn to make do. I used Lopi light, double strands of sport weight, some hand spun, yarn from a thrift store sweater that I unraveled and dyed in different colors, and other bits & pieces. Always fun to see what a new yarn will look like. No gauge, no specific size. Please note they were made for elderly people in nursing homes so that others may want to remember shut-ins also"

Bonnie P. from Plymouth MA.

I don't usually use wool as I'm
allergic to it, but I loved the yarn and the wrap is great because it doesn't touch bare skin.

Made with raspberry Shepherds wool.

How about a bowl of fish?
